本次改版的主要内容

自定义冷启动 Intro

冷启动后首先显示全新的 Intro，包含头像、游戏名称、版本号、作者信息、网站与二维码，并默认播放 BGM 18。1P 或 2P 任意按键均可继续，画面淡出后进入语言选择。

五种语言

  • 日本語
  • English
  • 繁體中文
  • 廣東話
  • 简体中文

默认光标停在日文。日文和英文保留原版文字；三种中文模式提供中文标题、开场介绍、21 页剧情对白、目标与对战画面、接关画面和中文“剧终”。

多语言启动设置

语言确认后可以在开始游戏前调整：

  • 初始生命：1 至 9
  • 初始能量：0 至 10，对应攻击能力槽
  • 起始关卡：五个大关可选
  • 音乐欣赏：23 首不重复曲目
  • 音效欣赏：27 个真实音效

音乐与音效使用左右键选择，按 A 播放，按 B 停止。切换序号不会自动重播。

八方向攻击

地面和空中均支持上、下、左、右以及四个斜向攻击。连续按攻击键时，每一发都会重新读取当前方向，不会锁定上一发的攻击角度。

现在可以站定连续攻击、转身连发，也可以一边正常走路一边出拳。移动攻击保留步行动画、碰撞和镜头移动，不会变成滑行。

动作与战斗强化

  • 二段跳：起跳后松开并再次按 A。
  • 滑铲：在坚实地面按 下+A，向当前朝向快速滑铲。
  • 下穿平台：站在可下穿平台时按 下+A，保留原版下落动作。
  • 护身光球：按 Select 开启，再按一次关闭。
  • 攻击寿命：所有方向的攻击存在时间均根据当前威力决定。
  • 强化保留：死亡后攻击等级只下降一级，不再直接清零。

剧场模式

在启动设置中选择“剧场模式”，即可连续观看开场、剧情、对白、过场、结局和 STAFF。进入战斗关卡后会自动调用游戏原有的跳关流程，不需要手动闯关，并保持当前所选语言。

手动跳关指令

游戏中先按 START 暂停：

  • 上+A：返回上一小段。
  • 下+A：优先进入当前关卡的下一小段；没有小段时进入下一关。
  • 下+A+B：进入最终通关流程。

This ROM hack keeps the original stages, story structure, and core action while adding a complete multilingual startup flow, Chinese localization, eight-direction attacks, moving attacks, Theater Mode, and several control enhancements. The original Japanese and English text remains unchanged, while Traditional Chinese, Cantonese, and Simplified Chinese each receive localized titles, menus, dialogue, and game-flow text.

Main Features

Custom Cold-Boot Intro

A cold boot now opens with a custom Intro containing a portrait, game title, version number, credits, website, and QR code. BGM 18 plays by default. Press any button on either controller to fade out and continue to the language menu.

Japanese is selected by default. Japanese and English retain their original text. The three Chinese modes include localized title screens, the opening story, all 21 dialogue pages, target and versus screens, continue screens, and the Chinese ending text.

Multilingual Startup Options

  • Starting lives: 1 to 9
  • Starting energy: 0 to 10, matching the attack-power gauge
  • Starting stage: choose from the five main planets
  • Music player: 23 unique tracks
  • Sound player: 27 actual sound effects

Use Left or Right to select a music track or sound effect, press A to play it, and press B to stop it. Changing the number does not restart playback automatically.

Eight-Direction Attacks

Ground and aerial attacks now support all eight directions. Every shot reads the current directional input again, so rapid attacks no longer remain locked to the direction used by the previous shot.

You can attack while standing, turning, or walking left and right. Moving attacks preserve the normal walking animation and collision behavior instead of sliding the character across the ground.

Movement and Combat Enhancements

  • Double jump: release and press A again after the first jump.
  • Slide: press Down+A on solid ground to slide in the facing direction.
  • Drop through platforms: press Down+A on a pass-through platform.
  • Protective orbs: press Select to enable them and press it again to disable them.
  • Attack lifetime: every attack direction uses a lifetime based on the current power level.
  • Power retention: dying lowers attack power by one level instead of resetting it completely.

Theater Mode

Select Theater Mode from the startup options to watch the opening, story scenes, dialogue, cutscenes, ending, and staff roll continuously. Combat stages are advanced through the game’s stage-transition flow, so no manual stage play is required. The selected language remains active throughout the presentation.

Manual Stage-Skip Commands

Pause the game with START, then use:

  • Up+A: return to the previous internal sequence.
  • Down+A: advance to the next internal sequence, or to the next stage when no smaller sequence exists.
  • Down+A+B: enter the final clear and ending flow.
